Kirsch, the most celebrated of our Alsace eaux-de-vie, is made from small, black cherries with large stones. Powerful, full-bodied aromas are achieved by double distilling the fruit. A long rest in our cellars gives this eau-de-vie its full roundness and bouquet so curiously pervading, witnessing its trueness to tradition.

Where flavours are concerned, the predominant floral scent is rose. Naturally, the fruity notes convey it. Beyond the flavours of Quetsch, made from ripe plums, waft aromas of Green Apple and Cherry flesh type.
Very fresh, herbal and more especially mint and aniseed flavours are also found in Quetsch.
In Alsace, Quetsch is the local fruit. These plump, purple plums on distillation give off a unique aromatic complexity.
 
From the distillation of Plums and Alsace Quetsch, the eau-de-vie will be slowly rested in oak barrels.
