History

This eau-de-vie was made with yellow plums of exceptional quality, from Alsace or Lorraine. The stems and seeds of our organic Mirabelle are carefully removed. Full of sunshine, they are appreciated for their sweet juicy pulp.

    Production

    After fermenting the fruit in vats comes a smooth distillation before diluting with the water from Uberach.

    Tasting

    Rediscover the aromas of mirabelles via this rich, characterful eau-de-vie with aromatic harmony. It offers an intense perfume recalling summertime and almonds; allied with the tastes of stone fruit they persist to a surprising and refreshing length. In the mouth, this organic brandy recalls cooked jammy fruit or Mirabelle pies.

    Serving

    The Bertrand Organic Mirabelle brandy should be served very cold in an icy glass. By swirling the contents of the glass gently, the powerful perfumes arrive to please any palate.

    The brandy can also be tasted at room temperature, the glass warmed in the palms of the hands.

    In the kitchen or for baking, the eau-de-vie will accentuate the taste and the persistence of the fruit.
